Here you have done a tremendous job explaining it. Everyone is different and menopause is different for each of us. I am 67 and went through it 20 years ago. It was a blessing in my case. First, and foremost, NO MORE HEADACHES each and every month with my periods. They were the blinding migraine kind. I was also lucky and had absolutely no hot flashes or night sweats like so many of my girl friends had and some still do. For three years after my OBGYN tried to get me to take hormone pills. I know that they are beneficial, however, the one side effect is the blessed headaches and I am not going through all of that again. I feel free of all of that now. Life is good and I still am aware of the woman that I am and will always be, matter of fact, more of the woman I tend to be.Myrnanoreply@blogger.com
