Sarah Knuppel of Inspired Arts Academy Press Release for Easter Seals Event:
Did you know that Easter Seals is a non for profit foundation that is very near to my heart? As an early childhood educator with a special education endorsement, I believe in the first five years of a child's life as well as the impact of special needs programs for students of all ages. Easter Seals provides exceptional services to ensure that people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to live, learn, work and play in their communities. Currently, we offer developmental and play therapy at Inspired Arts for families in Easter Seals programs on Thursdays and Fridays. This is why I have volunteered to be a 'Team Leader' for the Easter Seals campaign this year. Along with 8 other team members, we will raise $2500 by March 2nd, the telethon. This money will help support a child with a 'special need,' one that needs services for speech, occupation and physical, developmental, counseling, birth-3, autism, and cerebral palsy therapy. We will host two special events at my studio to help raise money for the cause and we encourage you to attend and please invite your friends! Dates are January 25th and February 15th. Please stayed tuned via Facebook and Newsletters for future information. At Inspired Arts, giving to non for profits that make a difference is our mission-we believe in the power of giving back! Help us by attending these 2 events this winter season.
