EASY 3 STEP DIY Creating Iron ON Appliques for Christmas T-SHIRTS

Are you hustling trying to find that perfect PERSONALIZED Christmas T shirt or PJ's for your Child for Christmas???

STOP.....

I've looked.. there is nothing!!

Unless you wanna pay an arm and leg for embroidery or an expensive iron on Applique!!!

Take matters into your own hands.. Just do it yourself!


DIY Iron ON Christmas Applique

Step ONE



Gather all your materials

1.  Choice of Fabric 
(Fat Quarters)

2.  Iron On Letter Appliques (Michaels or Hobby Lobby Carry Many Different Styles)

3.  Rotary Cuttery or Sharp Sewing Scissors

4.   Paper for Creating a Template Shape

5.  PELLON or HEAT BOND 

Pellon 725 Heavy Duty Wonder-Under Transfer Web Paper 17" Wide
(Joann's Sells by the Yard)

6.  T-SHIRT (Gildan is a great Product T-Shirt)



Step TWO




Create a Shape on Any type of Paper 

Trace Your Shape on the Wrong Side of Fabric - KEEP IN MIND the DIRECTION YOU WANT YOUR SHAPE TO BE ON THE RIGHT SIDE

USE ROTARY CUTTER OR SHARP SHEARS and Carefully Cut Your Shape




Step THREE



Lay YOUR Shape 

(WITH THE RIGHT SIDE OF FABRIC FACING UP)

ONTOP of THE ROUGH SIDE OF THE PELLON TRANSFER WEB PAPER


NOTE:  Keep some extra Paper around your shape so you can trim down.





Iron the SHAPE onto the Paper for 10-15 seconds on A WOOL Setting

BE Careful don't scorch it!



Step FOUR



Remove Transfer Web Backing off of the back of your Shape 

NOTE:  MAKE SURE ALL EDGES ARE COMPLETELY IRONED ONTO THE BACKING BEFORE PEELING OFF THE PAPER

ALSO.. MAKE SURE IT IS COMPLETELY COOLED BEFORE REMOVING 


 Position Your Shapes on the T-Shirt and Prepare your Iron




Step THREE

 IRON your Shapes and Lettering onto Your T-Shirt


Make your pants with a Great EASY Sewing Pattern or Purchase a Cute Pair of Pajama Pants for your Kiddos for Christmas!!
